Dawan Stanford - General Counsel
Dawan Stanford has shaped legal and business transactions for technology
companies in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. At
Morrison & Forester, a law firm with a global presence, Dawan
worked in California's Silicon Valley assisting companies ranging from
start-up to mature. After Morrison & Forester, Dawan became an
in-house lawyer with Symantec Corporation, initially in Symantec's US
headquarters and then an EMEA-wide legal role in France. In these
positions, Dawan worked with technology companies on issues, negotiations,
and agreements dealing with financings, mergers and acquisitions,
licensing, outsourcing, joint ventures,
consulting, marketing, and business development. Dawan is the General Counsel for ASCALA Group.

Steve Vaile - Managing Partner
Having worked in senior management positions with technology companies
leading them from start-up to liquidity event, Steve Vaile has a strong
background in telecommunications and media technology. He has held positions
ranging from VP APAC and EMEA to CEO and been instrumental in the start
up and exit of a number of leading software companies including
Riversoft (IPO 140 M), Systems Management Arts (Acquired by EMC 260M),
and Sirius (acquired by IBM). He was most recently VP of APAC and
EMEA for the US software company Voyence (acquired by EMC in 2007). Steve currently serves as Managing
Partner Middle East for ASCALA Group and is the Chief Executive Officer of H2O New Media a company developing social media technologies in Dubai.
